A while ago I noticed that when watching Youtube videos on this laptop, CPU usage was always higher on the default view than in fullscreen mode. I've been spending this entire time thinking it was something like, a weird quirk with rendering to a HTML component VS the entire screen, or driver issues, until I realized that theater mode also had low CPU usage.
What do theater and full screen have in common that the normal view doesn't?
THERE IS NO GLOW AROUND THE VIDEO.
I love this game
There aren't a lot of things people have said about my fursona that are offputting but what definitely tops the list is how they didn't like that it was a pred (animal) and prey (animal) combined.
Well to all those who think fictional toon rabbits and snakes have their defined roles, I am happy to say that I'm more ready than ever to completely disrespect traditional world views like this, what you see is absolutely not what you get, shape language is foreign language, etc etc
Lately I've been watching a lot of old (mainly 2003-2005) WWE stuff, and there was one thing that I somehow remembered being a thing but also don't remember ever being on TV, the Tim White Lunchtime Suicide skits.
Starting at Armageddon 2005, we'd see former referee Tim White at a bar he owned, attempt to take his own life from depression after suffering a career injury at a previous Hell in a Cell match, to sell the brutality of the match, with another such match happening that PPV, then the next week we'd see that he failed and would try again, and so on. These mostly were online, and given the things WWE has gotten in trouble for before that's not really a surprise, but I think because of that, the whole series feels really weird to watch.
Even completely ignoring the subject matter, there's something eerie about each video. There are no crowd noises, not unusual for a WWE promo, but it does make them feel unusually "quiet"; Tim White and Josh Matthews act less like humans and more like cartoon characters (even by WWE standards) with the former trying increasingly over-the-top ways to off himself, and the latter being completely oblivious to it until it's too late, while all still being presented like a regular WWE promo. Then it ends, complete with a "THE END", bringing the now-obviously fictional angle to a close.
I really wonder whose idea this was, there's just no purpose for it in terms of selling tickets/merch, even the Armageddon skit (for the record I haven't seen this one) since you're already there/watching it, it seemed like they just wanted to have fun and make something weird, like a set of Looney Tunes shorts with WWE employees who had free time.

You know I have my own set of issues with Bluesky but some people over here are reeeeally smug about it
Recently started a new Project Ozone 2 run, I've played this pack multiple times before with other people and every single time I end up on my own after a few days or weeks.
It's frustrating because there's a part of me who just wants a "legitimate" run but what counts as "legitimate" is needlessly strict, but arbitrary; if one other person was on for 5 minutes and placed a block it's now a multiplayer run, and if they never come back I can't continue without them, I have to start a new map...
I'm playing on my own again but streaming this time, feels like the best way to experience the pack with other people, I really can't enjoy Minecraft as much just on my own but there's just nobody that I can consistently play this game with, especially not in a way that I enjoy
