bunnyconda . @bunnyconda,

Recently started a new Project Ozone 2 run, I've played this pack multiple times before with other people and every single time I end up on my own after a few days or weeks.

It's frustrating because there's a part of me who just wants a "legitimate" run but what counts as "legitimate" is needlessly strict, but arbitrary; if one other person was on for 5 minutes and placed a block it's now a multiplayer run, and if they never come back I can't continue without them, I have to start a new map...

I'm playing on my own again but streaming this time, feels like the best way to experience the pack with other people, I really can't enjoy Minecraft as much just on my own but there's just nobody that I can consistently play this game with, especially not in a way that I enjoy

bunnyconda . @bunnyconda,

I'm trying to play in such a way that I can make the world more decorative than just big cobblestone platforms (which I already have a few of) but not that the game will become unplayably laggy (we'll see how long until that happens, having a newer GPU certainly helps)

There's also still the hurdle of trying to remember what exact thing I was trying to accomplish at any given moment, before being distracted by 5 other things that also need addressing that I'll also need a bunch of steps to complete, that I'll probably forget what I was trying to do in the process

It's still fun though, aside from the dumb early-game grindy stuff (which I've sat through too many times now), I have absolutely no shame in cheesing my way around however much of it as possible

That said I disabled Fluid Cows even in earlier runs, and am trying to avoid Mystical Crops as much as I can get away with because I genuinely don't enjoy those mechanics, thinking back to Stoneblock 2 and automating molten alloys with Integrated Dynamics while a friend of mine was breeding [resource] Chickens, one of these things is way less satisfying for me than the other

But we'll see once (not if) I get to the end-game stuff that requires millions of resources, I might just be playing the wrong game, Factorio is sitting right in my Steam library and I've barely touched it

On a side note, I wrote a tips and tricks guide for PO2 Kappa on Reddit years ago and it's nice to see other people linking back to it
