vore talk
Among all the things in vore that I like (and dislike) probably the one thing I like the most is when a pred becomes basically a black box; you know someone's in there (expanded size, sounds, maybe bulges) but don't know exactly what's going on, other than maybe the character's expression (not even an actual cutaway view) and whatever the end result is. Anything could be happening but the details of how dark, messy, cramped it might or might not be are entirely absent.
Say a friend gets gulped down in the middle of a massive sweets binge; what does that look like? Nothing, there's no view in there, you just know the friend is in there with a bunch of sweets. Are they surrounded by slimy mushes of sugar and chocolate? Is the candy somehow fully intact once again? Are they all sitting in a pool of stomach juice? Do they even occupy the same physical space, or is there some weird interdimensional stuff happening? The answer to all of these is no, they're just... all inside a noisy belly, somewhere. Even seeing the vague shape from outside of the friend's feet or tail doesn't guarantee anything...
And what exactly happens over the next few minutes, hours, overnight to turn it all into several hundred pounds of pudge, or inexplicably cause both friends to gain weight equally, or even all just onto the one who got swallowed? I don't know, nobody is supposed to know, it just happens. Say all the candy gets digested and the friend inside is completely unaffected, it just happened; there's no thinking about what that might have felt like other than they got to relax in an extra gurgly belly for a while.
Not only does this all gets around the kinda... less appealing visuals that can come with vore, but I just really like the idea of knowing that something is happening to someone, somewhere, but not being able to see it; if there's a name for that, I don't know what it is.
